Road resurfacing programme begins on Mpumalanga Road

Work on a 1.8 km stretch of Main Road will continue until mid-November.
Resurfacing of Main Road between the bus rank and the Mbabane road junction began on 15 September 2026.
Work takes place between 07:00 and 17:00 on weekdays. One lane will remain open in each direction, controlled by flag operators. Motorists are asked to allow extra travel time and to obey temporary speed limits.
The project forms part of the council's three-year road maintenance plan and is funded from the 2026/27 capital budget.
